How Matching Works

SolToss is a player-vs-player platform. Here is how we find you an opponent and settle the result fairly.

Your Deposit is Held in Escrow

When you place a bet, your SOL goes directly to the SolToss escrow wallet on Solana — not to us. The escrow holds your funds only for the duration of the match. It cannot be used for anything other than paying the winner or refunding you.

Matching is First-Come, First-Served

Once your deposit confirms on-chain, you enter the queue for your chosen tier. The first available opponent at the same stake is your match. Players who deposited earlier get priority. You can only be in one queue at a time.

The Coin Flip is Cryptographically Fair

The moment two players are matched, a single flip is run using a cryptographically secure random number generator. The result is a true 50/50 — neither player nor SolToss can influence it. The same flip drives both the coin animation you see and the actual payout decision. They are never separate rolls.

Payouts are Automatic and Verifiable

The winner receives their payout directly to their wallet via a Solana transaction. Every payout is recorded on the public Solana blockchain — you can verify the amount, destination, and timestamp independently on Solscan using the transaction link shown on the result screen.

Auto-Refund if No Match Found

If no opponent joins within 120 seconds, your bet is automatically refunded to your wallet. Refunds are sent on-chain and are verifiable just like payouts. You never have to request a refund manually.

No House, No Edge

SolToss does not take the opposite side of any bet. We make money only from a 2.5% fee deducted from the winner's payout. Both players always have an equal 50/50 chance. There is no way for the house to profit from a rigged outcome.
