Refund Policy

SolToss refunds are automatic and guaranteed by code — not a manual process.

When You Get Refunded

You are automatically refunded in the following situations:

• No opponent found in 120 seconds — this is the primary case. If you enter the waiting room and the countdown reaches zero without a match, your SOL is returned automatically.
• You leave the waiting room — clicking "← Leave" removes you from the queue. Your bet is marked for refund and processed within the next cron cycle (up to 60 seconds).
• System error during matching — if a technical failure prevents a match from completing correctly, the automated cron backstop detects the stuck bet and issues a refund.

You receive your full bet amount minus a small Solana network gas fee:

How Long It Takes

Refunds are processed by an automated cron job that runs every 60 seconds. Once triggered:

• The refund transaction is sent on Solana — typically confirms in 1–3 seconds.
• Total time from timeout to funds in your wallet: under 2 minutes in normal conditions.

Non-Refundable Situations

• After a match is made — once you are matched with an opponent and the coin has been flipped, the result is final. Losses are not refundable.
• Won games — payouts to winners are not reversible.
• Deposits that fail on-chain verification — if your transaction does not reach the escrow wallet (e.g. you cancelled it, it failed on-chain, or sent the wrong amount), no game record is created and the escrow does not hold your funds. In this case the funds never left your control — contact your wallet provider.

Verifying Your Refund

Every refund is a real Solana transaction. Check your wallet on Solscan for an incoming transfer from the SolToss escrow address. You can also search the escrow address directly to see all refund transactions.
